New Beginnings…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father, through his Son, Jesus the Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Spring has always symbolized new beginnings and new experiences.  The Fellowship family would like to announce and congratulate our spiritual leader’s recent completion of his post-graduate studies at the New York Theological Seminary.  The Seminary has conferred upon him the Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Community Organizing.  His official title is the Reverend Dr. Everett L. Kilgo.

As you know, Dr. Kilgo’s longstanding experience with youth ministry has been rooted in the empowerment of the same, academically and culturally. His dissertation, entitled: “The Kamau Brotherhood:  Affirming the Humanity of Black Boys”, exemplifies his mission to nurture self-esteem and personal excellence for urban youth by engaging school-aged black boys in self- and peer-image exploration through photography, creative writing and communications.

We salute you Dr. Kilgo. and join you in the greater things that are to come…
